魅力之“声” “英”你精彩——我校举办“学思结合，用创为本”英语演讲比赛 ...

为营造浓厚的英语学习氛围，提高学生口语练习的积极性，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，4月18日，天水市实验小学举办了第一届“学思结合，用创为本”英语演讲比赛。

In order to create a strong atmosphere for English learning, improve the enthusiasm for oral English training, stimulate students’ interest in learning English, the first English speech competition was held in Tianshui Experimental Primary School on 18th April, 2024.

为确保演讲比赛顺利进行，学校制定了专门的实施方案，活动按计划有条不紊地开展，从初赛到决赛，四五六年级学生积极报名，认真准备。经过班级初赛，全校共推荐出15名同学参加了校级决赛，四至六年级的全体师生通过直播方式观看了比赛。

To ensure the smooth progress of the speech competition, our school has developed a special implementation plan. The activities are carried out in an orderly manner according to the plan. From the preliminary round to the final, the children from grade 4, 5 and 6 were actively registered and prepared. After the preliminary round of the class, a total of 15 students were recommended by school to participate in the school-level finals. All teachers and students from grades 4 to 6 watched the competition through live broadcast.

参赛选手个个精神饱满，自信大方，在比赛过程中全程脱稿，充分展示了他们的英语演讲能力。同学们口语流利，语调自然，发音标准，声音洪亮，富有表现力、感染力。赛场气氛热烈，掌声不断。那就让我们来一睹他们的演讲风采吧！

The contestants were full of spirit and completely unscripted during the competition, which show their English speech abilities. They speak fluently, with natural intonation and standard pronunciation, which brought us great surprises. The atmosphere was warm and the applause was continuous. Let's have a look at their performances!

经过激烈角逐，各年级评出特等奖1名，一等奖2名，二等奖2名。其中获得特等奖的四年级四班杨佳灵、五年级四班彭馨瑶、六年级二班梁芷菲同学将代表学校，参加天水市小学教育联盟的英语演讲比赛。

After a wonderful competition, 1 special prize, 2 first prizes, and 2 second prizes were awarded to each grade. Yang Jialing(Class 4,Grade 4), Peng Xinyao(Class 4,Grade 5), and Liang Zhifei (Class 2,Grade 6)will represent the school to participate in the English speech contest of the Tianshui Primary School Education Alliance.

副校长妥金录宣读了比赛结果，并与教务处主任李明霞一起为获奖选手颁奖，全体评委老师、工作人员也与获奖学生合影留念。

Vice President Tuo Jinlu read out the results of the competition, and presented awards to the winners together with Li Mingxia, Director of the Academic Affairs Office. All the judges, teachers and staff also took photos with the award-winning students.

此次英语演讲比赛活动为同学们提供了一个充分展示自我的平台，培养了学生主动学英语、说英语、用英语的好习惯，提高了学生英语口语表达能力，也展示出了天水市实验小学为培养具有独立人格、卓越才能、家国情怀、全球视野的优秀学生做出的积极努力。

This English speech contest provides a platform for students to fully show themselves, and cultivates students’ good habits of learning English, speaking English and using English actively.

It also improves students’ oral English expression skills.What’s more, it shows the positive efforts made by Tianshui Experimental Primary School to cultivate outstanding students with independent personality, outstanding talents, patriotic sentiment, and global vision.
